Why?

I am travelling with two very good friends. I first met Anya in Romania where we were volunteering in an orphanage. We became firm friends and when she adopted her daughter some years later she asked me to be one of Natalia's God mothers along with her cousin Yelena, who lives and works in Russia, while Anya and Natalia live between Warsaw and Berlin. Four years ago I talked of wanting to see the real Russia and the plan for this trip was hatched.
